Discovery and Development Fund Supports Island Projects

The Department of Innovation and Advanced Learning is pleased to announce the results of the peer review process and the decision to offer awards to the top innovative projects in the first round of the Discovery and Development Fund.

This program was designed to support successful proponents from the public and private sectors, industry associations, or academia with up to $100,000 to execute discovery and development phases of Prince Edward Island based projects.

In total, 66 Letters of Intent were received in this first round of the Discovery and Development Fund with 49 full applications progressing to the final review stages. Below is a summary of the successful projects (in alphabetical order by company / institute).
